DIR-FCD Certificate Level 1 Course with Rosemary White OTR/L (Online)

This completely online course will use the DIR-FCD model to guide assessment and intervention for social-emotional development in infants, children, adolescents and families. In addition, the topics will include Foundational Capacities for Development (FCD), working with/coaching parents, and working within an interdisciplinary team. The DIR-FCD model builds upon establishing relationships and engagement at any point in development; respecting individual differences from the perspective of occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, psychology and education; and direct work with families.

Profectum Presentation – Individual Differences by Rosemary White (Online)

Rosemary White provides intensive insight into understanding the unique sensory-motor-visual-spatial profiles of children. Many videos demonstrate how the understanding of individual differences informs us of how best to foster development, interact, and deepen relationships with children. Rosemary breaks down the principles of the DIR model for each video example.
